Scrum Master

You are being hired as a Scrum Master with a keen interest in Jira-based project tracking, agile process optimization, and operational reporting. Your role will be crucial in establishing structured workflows, enhancing visibility across the engineering team, and ensuring tool governance at scale. You will collaborate closely with the CTO and tech leads to enhance the tracking, measurement, and reporting of engineering work. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in defining and standardizing agile workflows in Jira including Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Subtasks. - Maintain and update Jira configurations such as fields, boards, filters, dashboards, and reports. - Create and manage dashboards and daily reports to monitor engineering progress, timelines, and work hours. - Support sprint tracking and backlog hygiene in coordination with team leads. - Ensure that the tooling aligns with internal compliance and governance requirements. - Coordinate with teams to identify process improvements within Jira and agile practices. - Collaborate with leadership to offer insights on team performance, issue tracking, and sprint health. Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience working in an agile team, preferably with Jira or similar tools. - Proficiency in creating dashboards, reports, and workflows in Jira. - Good understanding of agile concepts like sprints, backlog, epics, and user stories. - Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and execute Jira processes effectively. - Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills. - Willingness to take ownership of tools and drive internal process improvement. In addition to the above, the company prefers candidates with the following: - Jira Administrator or Scrum Master certifications. - Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools. - Exposure to ITGC, audit, or compliance-related environments.
