Scrum Master

Role Overview: As a Scrum Master at Aelum Consulting, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Scrum Team(s) in using Agile methodologies and scrum practices. - Be an expert in facilitation, problem solving, and influencing outcomes. - Demonstrate understanding of lean agile values and principles including the 3-5-3 structure of scrum. - Possess expert knowledge of best practices in value-driven development such as requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis-driven development, and usability testing. - Have expert knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and DevOps. - Be proficient in agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams, or similar agile management tooling. - Demonstrate experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation with knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling frameworks. - Help the Scrum Team(s) to focus on the task at hand and remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments. - Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Track and communicate team progress and metrics to stakeholders, including burndown charts, velocity, and sprint/release progress. - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s) on Agile principles and practices, including self-organization and cross-functionality. Qualifications Required: - Must have Scrum Master and Agile Certifications. - Proficiency in Agile Project Management. - Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum Team(s) in Agile methodologies and scrum practices. - Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including self-organization and cross-functionality. - Experience in organizing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Experience in tracking and communicating team progress and metrics to stakeholders, including burndown charts, velocity, and sprint/release progress.,
