Job Description

Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: HyderabadJob Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members, and ensuring the effective execution of Agile methodologies within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Agile practices, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in the development process. Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: ○ Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. ○ Ensure that meetings are time-boxed and productive.
Coach and Support Teams: ○ Act as a servant leader for the Scrum team by guiding them through Agile practices and ensuring alignment with Scrum principles. ○ Help team members develop their Agile and Scrum skills.
Remove Impediments: ○ Identify and address roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress or productivity. ○ Work with the team and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
Promote Collaboration: ○ Encourage open communication and collaboration within the Scrum team and with stakeholders. ○ Facilitate communication between product owners, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project goals and requirements.
Ensure Agile Best Practices: ○ Foster a culture of continuous improvement by helping teams improve their Agile processes and work habits. ○ Monitor and ensure that the team adheres to Scrum and Agile best practices.
Track and Report Metrics: ○ Help the team track and report progress using key metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts, etc.). ○ Provide insights to management regarding team progress and health.
Work with Product Owner: ○ Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-groomed and prioritized. ○ Assist with managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining a clear understanding of the product roadmap. Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other relevant Scrum certifications.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and encourage a collaborative work environment.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward removing obstacles.
Experience with Agile tools (ADO). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other Agile methodologies like Kanban or Lean.
Experience in software development or a technical background.
Knowledge of scaling frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
