Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master in the IT department at our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the team follows agile principles to deliver high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and reviews, as well as removing any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress. By fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within the team, you will contribute to a culture of accountability and efficiency. Your primary focus will be on supporting the Product Owner in managing the backlog and aligning team efforts with business goals. You will be responsible for monitoring daily tasks, ensuring they are updated in the project management tool, appropriately assigned, and aligned with sprint objectives. Additionally, you will assist the team in breaking down larger tasks into more manageable pieces, evaluate task progress against estimated timelines, and identify potential bottlenecks to ensure efficiency. In facilitating meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, you will help maintain smooth workflows and ensure that tasks are well-defined and aligned with project priorities. To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment for at least 3+ years, with a strong understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban. Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) is preferred, along with excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
