Purpose/Objective

The Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Projects at Adani and will be based in Khavda, Gujarat. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure efficient operations and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the business objectives and contribute to the growth of the Energy Storage System Project Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure project continuity and efficiency. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to drive continuous improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components Implement best practices in inventory management, warehousing, and distribution to streamline processes and minimize lead times Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical standards across the supply chain operations Communicate and align supply chain initiatives with the broader organizational goals and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Technical Competencies

Experience in procurement, demand planning, and logistics management,Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives,Strong leadership and team management capabilities,Supply Chain Management of large-scale projects. Expertise in supply chain of Battery Energy Storage Systems a big plus. Background in Renewable Industry desirable.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
