Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team as a Deputy Manager- Supply Chain Planning & Logistics in Asahi India Glass Ltd, located in the glass industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and implement effective supply chain planning strategies to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain operations.
Analyze market trends and forecast demand to make informed decisions on inventory management.
Manage and coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Experience with supply chain management software and tools is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management systems.
