Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Indirect Tax Specialist to lead and manage all indirect tax-related activities for Revvity India, including GST/VAT compliance, advisory, audits, and regulatory updates across India entities. The role will ensure the business remains fully compliant with indirect tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation. Role & responsibilities: Compliance & Reporting Oversee preparation and filing of all indirect tax returns (GST, VAT, excise, customs, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure appropriate reconciliations between tax returns and financial statements. Manage and review tax data/reporting processes including automation and system integration for tax reporting. Advisory & Risk Management Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on indirect tax implications for business transactions, contracts, and new business initiatives. Evaluate and manage tax risks, ensuring controls are in place to minimize exposure. Liaise with external consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed. Audits & Litigation Handle indirect tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for submission of documentation and representation. Support legal teams in tax litigation and dispute resolution. Strategic Initiatives Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and ensure timely implementation of changes in internal processes. Drive continuous improvement and tax automation initiatives. Support cross-functional projects with indirect tax insights (e.g., supply chain, ERP implementations, mergers). Qualifications & Experience: MBA, Inter CA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory. 7 - 10 years of experience in indirect taxation Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws (or country-specific VAT laws if for other regions).
