Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with 2 to 7 years of experience to join our NGS R&D team, responsible for developing new NGS products and protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in genetics, molecular biology, or a similar field, with experience in DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, whole genome sequencing, and targeted panel sequencing analysis.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform standard NGS experiments including PCR, DNA extraction, NGS library prep, and other related techniques.
Set up runs and maintain Illumina sequencers for efficient data generation.
Conduct DNA/RNA assessments using methods such as qPCR, Lab Chip, and agarose gels.
Provide cross-functional support for analysis needs of Production and Business teams.
Support end-user custom analysis requests and document all development work, analyses, and planned experiments according to Revvity's Design Control Process.
Plan and execute complex projects in a timely manner, presenting findings and interpretations to research team members, cross-functional leaders, and senior management.
Collaborate effectively with others and actively troubleshoot/identify opportunities for optimization and automation of analysis pipelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as genetics, molecular biology, or similar.
Demonstrated experience with DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, whole genome sequencing, and targeted panel sequencing analysis.
Experience with Illumina NGS data and the ability to program/code in various languages (Python, Unix, Perl, R).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet project requirements and timelines, with experience working in a regulated environment under a controlled design review process preferred.
Proficiency in utilizing NGS automation or liquid handling platforms (Sciclone, Zephyr, etc.).
