Sap Materials Management Consultant

SAP MM Consultant with strong Retail domain expertise

Job Location Across: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM modules focusing on

  procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management

  within the retail business model.
• Implement and optimize

  Retail-specific processes

  such as

  article master management, site management, merchandise category hierarchy, and store replenishment

  .
• Collaborate with business users to understand operational needs in

  store operations, supply chain, and merchandising

  .
• Integrate MM processes with

  SAP Retail modules

  (Article Master, Assortment, Pricing, Promotions, and Store Management).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (SD, FI, WM, and Retail Merchandising) to ensure seamless end-to-end process flows.
• Participate in

  S/4HANA Retail

  implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
• Develop

  functional specifications

  for custom developments, enhancements, and reports.
• Perform

  unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  .
• Provide

  production support

  , troubleshoot issues, and deliver continuous process improvements.
• Prepare and deliver

  training

  to key users and retail operations teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in

  SAP MM configuration and support

  , with at least 2+ years in

  Retail domain

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

  cycle,

  Merchandise Procurement

  , and

  Store Inventory Management

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Article Master, Site Master, Assortment, Pricing, and Listing

  within

  SAP Retail

  .
• Experience in

  Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers

  , and

  Inventory Valuation

  .
• Exposure to

  S/4HANA Retail or SAP IS-Retail

  solutions (preferred).
• Good knowledge of

  integration

  with other SAP modules: SD (Sales & Distribution), FI/CO (Finance), and WM (Warehouse Management).
• Experience in

  end-to-end implementation

  ,

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• SAP Certification preferred.
