SAP Fiori/UI5 Development - Specialist / Senior Specialist

What's in it for you:

You will be required to provide on-going IT support as an expert in development and maintenance of SAP Fiori/UI5 apps on SAP BTP and on-premises S/4HANA platform and to activate, modify or create standard Fiori apps based on the interpretation of processes and business requirements which are to be made more efficient by an IT solution. You will also be required to have principal goals would be smooth operations of the applications and to ensure cost effectiveness during development and maintenance of the same.

• You will be developing IT solutions in adherence to policies, guidelines and procedures of Global IT in line with requirements.

• Participating in global projects in the specific subject area and contributes with knowledge in that field, so that the projects can be completed as expected and within the timeframe.

• Responsible for completing all 2nd and 3rd line support issues for the SAP Mobility landscape (BTP / on Premise) within the Linde group

• Collaborating with external development and support partners and establishes and tightens reliable and sustainable partnerships on a work level

• Undertaking application developer (analysis, design, build, test, implement) role on development and deployment projects reporting to the Project Leader.

• Designing, debugging, documents and tests a range of applications in the subject area.

• Participating & available in Team Call Outs and provide Out of Office hours support, including weekend & public holidays, as required, for the service.

• Ensure quality of technical solutions and compliance to global application standards

What Makes You Great:

• You should have overall 4 to 7 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies with the majority of that being hands-on SAPUI5 development with a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute

• A formal training and/or Certification in related technology or process areas would be desired

• You should have technical Knowledge in the specific technical areas have experience in working in offshore teams, have full project lifecycle development and system support experience desirable

• An additional exposure to SAP ABAP development including OData Services is a plus.

• In addition, functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ERP system areas, such as SD, MM, FI is a plus.

• You have hands-on experience in technical analysis, designing, development, testing and reviews of SAPUI5 applications, ranging from small enhancements to medium sized projects as well as technical know-how & strong hands-on experience in SAPUI5 development

• In addition you have technical know-how & strong hands-on experience in developing freestyle SAPUI5 applications for desktop, tablet and mobile

• In this role you should have technical know-how & strong hands-on experience in developing SAPUI5 Fiori Elements applications with detailed UI Annotations in each of the Fiori Elements Floorplans

• You should have strong hands-on experience in HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, XML, JSON, and have technical know-how and hands-on experience of OData v2/v4

• You should have technical knowledge and hands-on experience in developing barcode scanning with SAPUI5 mobile applications, strong hands-on experience using on SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git for distributed code control, should have developed and deployed applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and On-Premises S/4HANA systems, should have expertise in implementation and customization/extension of standard S/4HANA Fiori Applications, expertise in SAPUI5 debugging and consuming SAP OData services in UI5 applications and strong knowledge and experience using SAP Fiori Guidelines for optimal app design.
