Job Summary

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement

  custom enhancements, interfaces, and reports

  in SAP EWM using

  ABAP, RF Framework, BOPF, and CDS Views

  .
• Collaborate with functional teams to

  analyze business requirements

  and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain

  EWM-specific objects

  (queue management, warehouse tasks, warehouse orders, RF screens, PPF actions, etc.).
• Support

  integration with SAP ERP (ECC/S4HANA)

  and external systems via

  IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services

  .
• Perform

  system configuration, debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution

  in EWM modules.
• Work on

  EWM-MFS (Material Flow System)

  integration and automation, if applicable.
• Participate in

  EWM upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transition projects

  .
• Conduct

  unit testing, technical documentation, and user training

  .
• Provide

  production support and root cause analysis

  for incidents and change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an

  Agile/DevOps

  environment to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of relevant experience

  in

  SAP EWM Technical

  development and support.
• Strong knowledge of

  SAP ABAP

  ,

  OO ABAP

  ,

  BADI

  ,

  Enhancements

  , and

  User Exits

  .
• Expertise in

  RF Framework

  ,

  BOPF

  ,

  PPF

  , and

  BRF+

  within the EWM environment.
• Hands-on experience in

  EWM integration with ERP

  (Inbound, Outbound, Warehouse Processes).
• Experience with

  EWM on S/4HANA

  ,

  decentralized EWM

  , or

  embedded EWM

  .
• Good understanding of

  Warehouse Management

  business processes (Inbound, Outbound, Picking, Putaway, Physical Inventory).
• Experience in

  interfaces and middleware

  (IDoc, ALE, PI/PO, CPI).
• Familiarity with

  Fiori/UI5

  and

  OData services

  (nice to have).
• Excellent

  troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

  .
