Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP CO implementation and support activities in the areas of:

o Product Costing (Discrete and Process Manufacturing)

o Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

o Cost Object Controlling

o Cost Center Accounting

o Profit Center Accounting

o Material Ledger

• Understand and analyze business requirements in manufacturing costing, identify gaps and design scalable SAP CO solutions.

• Design and configure cost flows for manufacturing operations including BOM, routing, activity pricing, and overhead structures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, PP, SD) to ensure seamless integration and alignment with manufacturing processes.

• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost allocations, settlements and reconciliations.

• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for CO modules.

• Work with stakeholders to prepare functional specifications, perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Train business users and prepare user documentation.

• Stay updated on new SAP functionalities and best practices in costing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience with minimum 5 implementations/projects for a Manufacturing customer.

• SAP S/4 HANA (On-Premise or Cloud) implementation experience required.

• Deep expertise in Product Costing and Manufacturing Costing within S/4HANA.

• In-depth knowledge of:

o Material Ledger

o Standard and Actual Costing

o Overhead cost control

o Cost Object Controlling (COC)

o Activity-Based Costing (ABC)

• Experience with discrete and process manufacturing environments.

• Strong integration knowledge with SAP PP, MM, FI, and SD modules.

• Proficiency in preparing Functional Specifications and working with ABAP developers for 

custom enhancements.

• Experience in handling unit testing, integration testing, and UAT phases.

• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Local language exposure is required

• Exposure to tools like SAP Fiori, Solution Manager or JIRA (nice to have)

• Ready to travel to client location for important client meetings and deliverables
