Title: SAP ByDesign Consultant

Duration: Very Long Project

Location: Remote

Must Have: French Language Understanding

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle SAP ByDesign Finance implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-go-live support.
• Analyze client business processes and recommend best-practice solutions using SAP ByDesign Finance.
• Configure key financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Cash Management.
• Design and implement Management Accounting (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Projects, Internal Orders).
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and system testing with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, HR, Projects, CRM) for integrated solutions.
• Support data migration, testing, and cutover activities for financial data.
• Develop and document functional specifications for any required enhancements or integrations.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance teams and business leaders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP ERP Finance, including hands-on SAP Business ByDesign experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial statements, and business processes.
• Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP ByDesign implementations.
• Knowledge of integrations between ByDesign Finance and other modules (e.g., Projects, Supply Chain).
• Experience with financial reporting tools and KPIs within ByDesign.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
• SAP certification in Business ByDesign Finance (preferred but not required).
