Salesforce Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership

• Design end-to-end, scalable, secure Salesforce architectures including data models, integrations, automation, and security frameworks.
• Create detailed architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Recommend Salesforce best practices, reusable frameworks, and technical standards.
• Lead architecture workshops and solution design sessions with business and technical teams.

Technical Ownership

• Provide technical governance to development teams, including enforcing coding standards and conducting peer code reviews.
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and future-proof Salesforce technical solutions.
• Oversee customization, configuration, and development across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and Platform.
• Ensure all implementations align with Salesforce product capabilities, limits, and release roadmaps.

Integration & Performance

• Design enterprise-grade integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or event-driven patterns.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, integration failures, governor-limit breaches, and data flow issues.
• Ensure proper DevOps processes, CI/CD pipeline governance, environment strategy, and release management.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, PMs, and leadership teams to communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs.
• Provide effort estimation, risk assessment, and solution feasibility analysis.
• Mentor junior developers, technical leads, and admins to uplift overall technical quality.

Technical Expertise Required

• 8–10+ years of Salesforce implementation experience across multiple clouds.
• Strong hands-on skills in

  Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and Salesforce APIs

  .
• Expertise in integration platforms:

  MuleSoft (preferred), Dell Boomi, Informatica, Kafka, API Gateway

  .
• Advanced understanding of

  Salesforce security models

  , sharing rules, OAuth, SSO, profiles, roles.
• Experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Platform).
• Strong understanding of middleware patterns, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration models.
