The opportunity
As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll design, build, and support scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, and modern DevOps tools. You’ll work closely with product, business, and technical teams to improve system performance, drive automation, and deliver impactful enhancements across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Configure Salesforce (objects, fields, Flows, page layouts, validation rules) and optimise existing setup.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
- Manage metadata through Git, Gearset, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX to support source-driven development.
- Ensure strong code quality through testing, debugging, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Provide Level 2/3 support, resolving production issues and ensuring platform stability.
- Coordinate releases and deployments, supporting governance, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Manager, admins, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to DevOps maturity, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable patterns for team consistency.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL).
- Strong understanding of declarative tools: Flows, validation rules, security model, permission sets.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Gearset, CI/CD, and Salesforce DX.
- Solid integration experience (REST APIs, JSON/XML, Platform Events).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts and ability to write modular, maintainable Apex code.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and clear communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II is a plus.
- Additional certifications (Admin, App Builder, DevOps-related) are also value add.
- Experience in large enterprise environments, ideally logistics or supply chain.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Azure Integration Services).
- Active participation in the Salesforce/Trailblazer community.
