Role Purpose

The

Salesforce Developer

role exists to design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions that support core business processes in Sales and Service operations. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce applications while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and adherence to best development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
Configure and enhance Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft).
Develop and maintain automation workflows using Flows, Process Builder, and Triggers to streamline operations.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data integrity, security, and system performance across all Salesforce environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to maintain high code quality and performance.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to continuously enhance system efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

5–9 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
Proven experience implementing and customizing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.
Good understanding of Salesforce design patterns, best practices, and deployment tools (Change Sets, Copado, Gearset, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Good To Have Skills

Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica Cloud.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
Understanding of Salesforce security model, governor limits, and performance optimization.
Salesforce Developer or Platform Developer I/II certification.
Exposure to Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ is a plus.
