Salesforce Developer (Service Cloud)

Location: Remote/Work From Home

Rate: $16 per hour

Timings: Night Shift - PST Timezone (After 8 PM IST)

Overview:

We’re seeking a passionate Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, leveraging Salesforce Service Cloud and other Salesforce platforms to deliver end-to-end product and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Serve as a Salesforce platform expert and collaborate with Solution Architects to design business capabilities leveraging Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
• Configure and optimize Service Cloud features including:

• Case Management

  (Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, Assignment & Escalation Rules, Case Teams, Support Processes)

• Omni-Channel

  (Queue/Skill-based routing, Supervisor view)

• Knowledge Articles

  and

  CTI integrations

  (Jabber, Cisco, etc.)

• Agentforce

  and

  Prompt Builder

  for case replies and support automation.
• Ensure high-quality code through best practices such as unit testing, configuration over customization, and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and maintain data integrity through tools like Gearset and OwnBackup.
• Act as release manager when required to plan deployments across environments.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, participate in platform optimization initiatives, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience

  with strong knowledge of Service Cloud.
• Hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Gearset preferred).
• Salesforce Certifications (Service Cloud, Platform Developer) are highly desirable.
