Title: Salesforce Platform Developer QA Engineer

Location: India REMOTE

Duration: Long Term

About the Role

Salesforce Platform QA Engineer

Quality Engineering team

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute

    test plans, test cases, and automation scripts

    for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Perform

    functional, regression, integration, and UI testing

    for Salesforce features and enhancements.
  • Validate

    Salesforce configurations, customizations, and APIs

    including Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity and perform

    end-to-end testing

    of Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain

    test automation frameworks

    (e.g., Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or Robot Framework).
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset) to automate regression testing.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify, isolate, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Drive

    quality best practices

    , documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in

    UAT support

    , bug triage, and release validation cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years

    of experience in QA with at least

    8+ years on the Salesforce platform

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model

    .
  • Experience in

    Apex testing

    ,

    API validation (REST/SOAP)

    , and

    Salesforce automation tools

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    Selenium / Provar / TestNG / Robot Framework

    or other automation tools.
  • Experience testing

    Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and Flows

    .
  • Familiarity with

    CI/CD tools

    like

    Jenkins, Copado, GitLab, or Gearset

    .
  • Knowledge of

    SOQL, Salesforce APIs

    , and

    data validation

    techniques.
  • Strong understanding of

    Agile/Scrum methodologies

    and testing best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    computer science, Information Technology

    , or related field.
  • Salesforce certifications are a strong plus (e.g.,

    Salesforce Certified Administrator
