Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Trainer at Cogoport, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performing freight sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to empower Customer Success Executives (CSEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) through top-notch training, practical role-playing, freight product education, and enhancing their consultative selling skills. By combining your logistics domain expertise with contemporary sales techniques, you will ensure that every sales representative is confident, customer-focused, and successful in achieving their targets. Key Responsibilities: - Design, launch, and manage structured onboarding programs for new CSEs and SDRs, including 30-60-90-day success plans. - Conduct monthly sales training sessions in various cities focusing on negotiation, pricing objections, value selling, and consultative discovery. - Develop and update training materials such as playbooks, rebuttal sheets, live call scripts, and objection handling decks. - Provide personalized feedback by shadowing sales calls and demo recordings to enhance pitch quality. - Collaborate with Growth Leadership and Operations to continuously enhance training modules based on customer and market feedback. - Create competency certification assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of ramp-up. - Facilitate continuous learning through micro-trainings, skill workshops, and competitive battlecards. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales enablement, inside sales coaching, or learning & development. - Profound understanding of B2B sales processes, consultative selling, and objection handling. - Previous exposure to logistics, SaaS, insurance, financial services, or complex sales environments is preferred. - Highly organized, excellent communicator, and proficient in leading workshops. - Bachelor's degree is necessary; certifications in sales enablement or training delivery are advantageous. - Bonus: Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, Hubspot) and call coaching tools.
