Front line sales leader for a defined territory. Executioner of the company and distributor business plans, Training resource for his/her Re-sale team (Sales executive, Merchandiser & Driver) Responsibility: STL is responsible for business plans delivery and sales fundamentals results for his/her team (team of Sales executives & Merchandisers) and assigned territory/area, responsible for quality execution of Initiatives. In addition he/she is responsible for identifying development areas for the Sales Executives, preparing a training calendar and imparting in-market/ class-room training for defined P&G training programs __________________________________________________________________________________ SCOPE: Interaction with · Level in Company · No. of direct Reports · Reports to · Business responsibility · Budget/Financial Responsibility · Auditing / Training Responsibility 3 8 Business executive CPCDMPVC results for territory Outstanding customer balances * Prepare a training calendar and impart in-market training to DSE * Auditing of Initiative execution Internally Distributor Business executive Sales Executives Merchandisers Finance Executive Logistics Executive HR Executive Systems Executive Externally P&G KAM’s/ DM’s Retail Customers P&G Customer team REQUIREMENTS: : Post Graduates or Graduates in any discipline (Engineers not preferred), Working knowledge of MS Office Applications. : About 4 - 5 years of sales work experience : English & Fluency in local language : High Initiative & Follow through skills, Persuasive Communication skills, Strong Leadership skills and exceptional maturity levels; white collar, lower middle class (needy) background, negligible power of influence, non-unionized environment, Age not more than 30 years. ________________________________________________________________________________________ RESPONSIBILITIES: RESPONSIBILITIES MEASURES · Planning and achievement of DSE-wise Coverage, volume & fundamentals in the assigned area objectives in the assigned area · DRCP ( validated every year ) · Monthly volume target · Route wise/ DSE wise volume objectives · Targeted CPCMPVC results for assigned area · % Golden stores ; OHD ; Preferred supplier status · Planning and execution of the promotions & new product launches in the assigned area · 100% hit rate on plan execution and volume objectives met · Works with all Top Stores & leads the Joint business planning with these stores · Preferred supplier in all top stores · All top stores 100% golden stores · All Objectives met in all top stores · Planning and achievement of Local Initiatives / priorities (eg OHD thrust, Coverage extension plans, RPS drive ) · Target results for each initiative for assigned area · · Analysis and planning of business DSE-wise/ customer-wise / Product category/ SKU-wise for the assigned area. · Objectives defined using tools like Hand Held query, Pivot tables, IDS reports, Gap analyser etc. · Skill upgradation of Sales Executives & Merchandisers. - Audit of BCP process, initiative execution etc.. -Track Sales Executive & Merchandiser skill upgradation - Impart regular in-market/ classroom training · Monthly Training calendar for each DSE. · Skill progression in the team · 100% qualified · Golden stores · Participates in the site Joint Business Planning process · 100% presence in all JBP reviews · Leads Business Team reviews in the Canvass meetings · CPCDMPVC + Roll –out of initiative execution · Ongoing Performance review of his/her team of Sales executives & Merchandisers · 100% performance review discussions completed · Records and reports · 100% accurate records and reports submitted on time · 100% new product launch reports submitted on time · Ensure proper collection for assigned area · A/R as per the terms offered to the customers · Customer outstanding not beyond defined due dates.
