Role Description

Sales Representative

Job Description / Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.
Ensure timely order booking and achieve sales targets (primary & secondary).
Monitor stock levels at outlets and coordinate timely replenishments.
Ensure correct product display as per brand standards and planograms.
Implement promotional campaigns, schemes, and sampling activities.
Coordinate with backend sales support and supply chain for smooth operations.
Track competitor activity and gather market intelligence.
Conduct regular market visits to assess sales performance and visibility.
Ensure proper placement of point-of-sale materials and branding assets.
Handle and coordinate with distributors for order fulfillment, credit management, and resolving supply chain issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.

Desired profile of the candidate

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in FMCG field sales and/or merchandising.
Understanding of both General Trade and Modern Trade functioning.
Should be presentable with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must own a two-wheeler with valid driving license.
Tech-savvy to update daily sales reports and field activity online.
