Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative at RS ROASTED GRAM MILLS KUMBAKONAM, a Roasted Gram Manufacturer based in Tamil Nadu, India, you will play a crucial role in driving sales of our roasted gram products in the region. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, overseeing sales execution, order management, market research, collection management, credit control, sales reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You will be tasked with developing and implementing sales strategies to meet sales targets, identifying potential markets and customer segments, and creating action plans to capitalize on these opportunities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers will be essential, as well as conducting sales visits, negotiating agreements, and managing the entire sales cycle. In addition, you will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately, coordinating with production and logistics teams for timely delivery, conducting market research to understand customer needs and preferences, and providing insights to the management team for product development and improvement. Implementing effective collection strategies, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and preparing regular sales reports will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, along with proven experience in sales and collection roles, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as a results-driven approach with a track record of meeting sales targets. Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software, knowledge of local market dynamics, and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region are also necessary.
