The company is at the forefront of advanced computing solutions for electric mobility, specializing in safety-critical components such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), EV chargers, Vehicle Intelligence Modules (VIM), secure Firmware Over the Air (FOTA), etc for electric vehicles. The company is working with two of the top 5 EV players in India and various leading battery manufacturers ensuring a high level of reliability and safety, delivering robust performance for the next generation of intelligent and smart EVs. With a vision to develop the most reliable, robust, and cost-efficient systems, Vecmocon aims to drive the mass adoption of electric vehicles globally.



We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking individual, with proven experience and passion for selling technology solutions. You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing strong rapport with existing and potential customers.


  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical presentations that clearly explain product features, system architecture, and service offerings to customers and prospects.


  • Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to understand needs, assess requirements, and propose appropriate technical solutions.


  • Prepare accurate cost estimates by evaluating blueprints, plans, and related customer documentation, consulting with engineers, architects, and other relevant technical personnel.


  • Support and partner with sales executives in planning, preparing, and executing strategic deals in complex sales cycles.


  • Develop and model financial business cases associated with each sales opportunity.


  • Understand customer pain points and align them effectively with proposed technical solutions.


  • Create and deliver engaging technical demonstrations that highlight the product’s unique value proposition.


  • Communicate customer requirements, feedback, and insights to the technical and R&D teams for future product enhancements.


  • Prepare detailed sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data, engineering inputs, and application trends.


  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars, technical workshops, building professional networks, and participating in relevant industry forums.


  • Identify and address short-term and long-term issues affecting sales engineering effectiveness.


  • Demonstrate strong component-level knowledge, including sourcing information, vendor capabilities, and cost drivers.


  • Collect, document, and maintain competitive intelligence relevant to the company's products and market position.


  • Possess deep technical understanding of both hardware and software systems, with the ability to explain these concepts clearly and confidently to customers.


  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and industry movements to guide product positioning and contribute to strategic planning.


Skill sets/Experience we require:


• 5-9 years proven work experience as a Sales Engineer


Pedigree:


• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering

• MBA in Sales & Marketing would be preferred
