Job Description

Sales Specialist FMCG E-commerce & Q-commerce

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Revenue Optimization (FMCG Focus)

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for E-commerce & Q-commerce channels to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor FMCG market trends and adjust pricing, promotions, and assortment accordingly.
  • Ensure high visibility, search ranking, and conversion rates of FMCG SKUs across platforms.

Vendor & Platform Negotiations

  • Negotiate with marketplace partners for better margins, visibility, and trade promotions.
  • Manage vendor agreements, trade marketing budgets, and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Optimize profitability through strategic planning of slotting fees and deals.

Performance Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and optimize PPC campaigns, Amazon Ads, Google Shopping, etc.
  • Analyze campaign performance, ROI of promotions, and competitor activities to improve sales.
  • Align E-commerce goals with social media and influencer campaigns.

Q-commerce Strategy

  • Expand presence on Q-commerce platforms by identifying new opportunities and onboarding partners.
  • Plan product bundling and fast-moving SKU strategies to boost quick delivery sales.
  • Monitor stock levels and avoid out-of-stock situations through real-time coordination.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and category teams for seamless operations.
  • Plan inventory forecasts, product launches, and campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Train and guide junior team members and sales support staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in FMCG E-commerce & Q-commerce sales.
  • Expertise in managing marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.).
  • Strong vendor negotiation and trade marketing skills.
  • Familiarity with PPC, SEO, Seller Central, Google Analytics, Excel.
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Knowledge of FMCG supply chain processes (expiry, bulk discounts).
  • Familiarity with ERP/OMS tools like Unicommerce, SAP
