Advertising & Performance Marketing Specialist -- Ecommerce

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute performance marketing campaigns tailored to quick commerce and e-commerce channels.
  • Plan and implement platform-specific promotions, sponsored listings, banner ads, and co-branded campaigns.
  • Collaborate with platform partners to launch exclusive offers and initiatives.

Optimization & Analysis

  • Monitor key campaign metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversion rates) and optimize continuously.
  • Run A/B tests, keyword optimization, and creative experiments to improve campaign performance.
  • Leverage analytics dashboards and data insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

Budget Management

  • Allocate budgets efficiently across platforms and monitor ROI daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Recommend budget adjustments based on campaign performance and business priorities.
  • Report regularly on budget utilization and effectiveness.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with creative and content teams to develop high-performing ad creatives.
  • Align campaign objectives with sales, e-commerce, and supply chain teams.
  • Ensure adequate inventory during campaigns and seamless cross-team execution.

Platform & Market Analysis

  • Stay updated on platform algorithms, ad innovations, and quick commerce trends.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and consumer behavior analysis to refine targeting strategies.
  • Use insights to recommend new initiatives and growth opportunities.

Customer Retention & Loyalty

  • Design targeted campaigns to re-engage dormant customers and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop strategies to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with quick commerce and e-commerce platform partners.
  • Negotiate trade terms, promotional agreements, and pricing with stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all platform-related advertising and marketing activities.

Product Visibility & Merchandising

  • Optimize product listings, search keywords, category placements, and digital shelf presence.
  • Ensure accuracy and brand alignment in product descriptions, imagery, and pricing.
  • Execute merchandising plans, bundling, and seasonal campaigns to maximize visibility.

Sales Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track sales performance across platforms and prepare detailed KPI and campaign effectiveness reports.
  • Use analytics tools to recommend corrective actions to address performance gaps.

Customer Experience & Feedback

  • Monitor customer reviews and take steps to enhance ratings and resolve concerns.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience in collaboration with internal and external teams.

Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Keep abreast of competitive activity and recommend strategies to maintain a market edge.
  • Monitor quick commerce trends and customer preferences to stay ahead of the curve.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience in performance marketing and advertising for e-commerce/quick commerce platforms.
  • Expertise in campaign planning, budget management, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms and consumer behavior in the digital retail space.
  • Excellent negotiation and account management skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools, Excel, and platform dashboards.

Preferred:

  • FMCG/Q-commerce experience.
  • Experience with customer retention and loyalty campaigns.
  • Knowledge of merchandising and inventory planning in an online environment.
