Sales Manager - Textile Processing Aides (North)

We are looking for a Sales Manager - Textile Processing Aides (North). This is for our Textile Processing Aides (Textile Auxiliaries) division.

Location: Preferred: Ludhiana (Punjab)

Second Preference: Delhi/NCR

Reporting to CEO

Reportee(s) : 1-2

Indirect Reportee(s) : 2-4

Job Purpose:

Leading the Textile Auxiliary Sales team in achieving the planned Revenue growth for the assigned products in Jammu, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, and Himachal.

Primary Tasks & Activities

• Develop and service assigned territory.
• Generate Sales leads and pass on to subordinates.
• Update Technical brochures update time to time.
• Identify right channel partners.
• Actively and consistently seek new customers and research customers needs and resolve problems.
• Attend industry and distributor trade show.
• Visit customers and potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, set grower trials, close sales opportunities and provide technical information.
• Deliver sales presentations and closes sales in a professional manner
• Make product recommendations and presentations to growers, distributors, and industry organizations in order to educate and inform.
• Maintain and share an understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
• Participate in scheduled Sales Conference calls
• Take a leadership role in the establishment of field based grower specific product trials.

A

• Graduate/P.G in Textile Chemistry with an MBA will be preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of technical sales experience in the chemical industry.
• Experience of working in the specialty chemicals industry will be an advantage.

B. Skills & Knowledge

1. Functional Skills

• Experience of selling to Corporates (B2B Sales).
• Experience of establishing and managing Channel Network for Retail Sales (Channel Sales).
• Knowledge of Industry Trends Chemical Industry preferably Specialty Chemicals or Textile Chemicals.
• Complete Familiarity with the assigned Geography - Jammu, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, and Himachal.
• Must have handled Sales teams (2-4 Sales Executives).

2. Computer Skills

• Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and eMail (Office or Gmail).
• Ability to work on Tally would be preferred.
