Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Kolkata, India Experience: 8 years Employment Type: Full-Time About Shiksak Shiksak is a AI Powered Education Management System (EMS) platform offering a comprehensive suite of solutions including LMS, ERP, AI-driven assessments, and digital content tailored for educational institutions and corporate training environments. With an expanding footprint across India and globally, Shiksak is transforming how learning is delivered, managed, and experienced. Role Overview We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to join our team in Kolkata. This is a pure sales role focused on driving direct product sales of our EMS solutions to schools, colleges, universities, and corporate training departments. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in sales within the education technology or corporate training domain and is driven by targets, revenue, and client success. Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth through direct sales of Shiksak’s EMS platform and related solutions. Identify and target key decision-makers in educational institutions and corporate L&D departments. Deliver product presentations and demos that clearly communicate value and ROI. Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal closure. Achieve or exceed defined sales targets and KPIs. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasting. Work closely with the pre-sales and customer success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding. Candidate Requirements Minimum 8+ years of core sales experience, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, education, or corporate training sectors. Strong understanding of solution selling and a consultative approach to sales. Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals independently. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes. Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate.
