Job Description

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets in assigned territory or sector.
  • Identify and penetrate new market segments including industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.
  • Business Development:
  • Generate new leads through market research, cold calling, and industry networking.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (consultants, contractors, end users, facility managers, etc.).
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure, including pricing, proposals, and negotiation.
  • Ensure excellent post-sales support in coordination with service and project teams.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and product developments.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends and customer needs.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate DG Set solutions (sizing, features, specifications).
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver technically accurate proposals.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM or internal systems.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly sales reports and presentations for senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales of diesel generators, power systems, or related equipment.
  • Strong network with consultants, EPC contractors, and facility heads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
