Job Summary

Sales Manager for Aveva PI / Industrial Data Solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for Aveva PI and related digital/IIoT solutions.
  • Design and execute a strategic sales plan to grow business across target accounts and sectors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with state-owned power companies and large industrial clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and consultants.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demos, and workshops.
  • Work closely with technical/pre-sales teams to develop proposals and value-based solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to management.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in industrial data and digital transformation.
  • Promote the full range of Aveva PIbased solutions including data historian, analytics, AF modeling, dashboards, and integration services.
  • Support negotiations and close deals in line with company strategy and margin expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3to 10 years of sales experience in Industrial Software / Automation / SCADA / IIoT / Digital Transformation.

  • Prior experience selling

    Aveva PI / OSIsoft PI

    or similar historian/data platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience dealing with large enterprises, government, or utility customers is an advantage.

  • Ability to understand industrial process environments and operational data needs.
