The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales efforts of the travel

insurance products within a specific region or market segment.

This includes managing a sales team, developing strategies to drive growth,

and ensuring that sales targets and objectives are met.

The Sales Manager will play a key role in fostering relationships with clients,

agents, and brokers, and will have a hands-on approach in training and

developing the sales team.

This role requires understanding of travel insurance products, strong

relationship-building skills, and the ability to grow and manage an agency

sales network, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain knowledge

of industry trends and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

 Agency channel management- Recruiting, screening, and training new

agents.

 Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales

targets.

 Manage Sales Team: Oversee a team of sales representatives, providing

guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure targets are met.

 Sales Training and Development: Conduct training to ensure the team has

a deep understanding of the travel insurance products and the skills

needed to sell them effectively.

 Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to

increase market share and achieve revenue growth in travel insurance

sales.

 Establish sales targets and objectives for the team, tracking progress and

providing feedback on individual and team performance.

 Analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to

adapt sales strategies and improve offerings.

 Monitor sales performance metrics and report on results to senior

management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements

based on data analysis.

 Foster relationships with travel agencies, insurance brokers, and other

distribution channels to drive sales.

 Develop accurate sales forecasts and set achievable monthly, quarterly,

and annual targets.
