The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales efforts of the travel
insurance products within a specific region or market segment.
This includes managing a sales team, developing strategies to drive growth,
and ensuring that sales targets and objectives are met.
The Sales Manager will play a key role in fostering relationships with clients,
agents, and brokers, and will have a hands-on approach in training and
developing the sales team.
This role requires understanding of travel insurance products, strong
relationship-building skills, and the ability to grow and manage an agency
sales network, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain knowledge
of industry trends and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency channel management- Recruiting, screening, and training new
agents.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales
targets.
Manage Sales Team: Oversee a team of sales representatives, providing
guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure targets are met.
Sales Training and Development: Conduct training to ensure the team has
a deep understanding of the travel insurance products and the skills
needed to sell them effectively.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to
increase market share and achieve revenue growth in travel insurance
sales.
Establish sales targets and objectives for the team, tracking progress and
providing feedback on individual and team performance.
Analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to
adapt sales strategies and improve offerings.
Monitor sales performance metrics and report on results to senior
management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements
based on data analysis.
Foster relationships with travel agencies, insurance brokers, and other
distribution channels to drive sales.
Develop accurate sales forecasts and set achievable monthly, quarterly,
and annual targets.
