Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will drive business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, expanding customer base, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team towards achieving ambitious revenue targets. The role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/refrigeration systems, consultative selling, project-based sales, and channel development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including corporates, institutions, builders, government bodies, and contractors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in VRF, ductable, chillers, cold rooms, and other central AC solutions.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team; set goals, review performance, and ensure continuous skill development.
  • Manage tendering, quotation preparation, price negotiation, and order finalization.
  • Collaborate with OEM (Blue Star) and internal technical teams for solution design, estimation, and project support.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and provide feedback for product positioning and business growth.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business/Management; MBA preferred.
  • 1–5 years of proven sales experience in HVAC, central AC, refrigeration, or building solutions industry.
  • Strong network with architects, consultants, contractors, builders, and corporate procurement teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, work under pressure, and deliver results.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC products (VRF, ductable, chillers, cold rooms, etc.) and project sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools (Zoho preferred), and digital sales platforms.
