Core Responsibilities
Sales and lead generation: Actively seek out and respond to sales opportunities within government bids and tenders on the GeM platform.
Tender management: Prepare, submit, and track all necessary documentation for bids and tenders, ensuring timely submission.
Catalog management: Upload and manage product/service listings, including descriptions, pricing, and images, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Client and government liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for government departments and agencies, handling inquiries and building relationships.
Compliance and approvals: Ensure all company products and processes meet GeM's standards and secure necessary approvals for new products.
Reporting and documentation: Maintain proper records of all tender progress, sales activities, and order history.
Key Skills
GeM portal expertise: Experience with the Government e-Marketplace platform and understanding of government procurement processes.
Tender/bid preparation: Ability to prepare and manage bid documents and understand different bid types.
Sales and negotiation: Proven sales experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Digital proficiency: Comfort with online platforms and digital tools for managing sales activities.
Organizational skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a high volume of inquiries and deadlines.
