Production Manager (Furniture Industry)

Location: Noida / Greater Noida

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Production Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end production operations of our furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, excellent technical knowledge of the furniture domain, and hands-on experience in production planning, quality control, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to ensure timely execution of orders.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Monitor production timelines and optimize resources to achieve maximum efficiency.

• Maintain strict quality standards across all furniture manufacturing processes.

• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.

• Track production costs, minimize wastage, and improve productivity.

• Manage and lead the production workforce by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

• Implement production SOPs, safety guidelines, and best manufacturing practices.

  Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions for continuous process improvement.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material requirements.

• Ensure adherence to company standards, project deadlines, and client specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Furniture Production / Interior Technology or related field.

• 610 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, carpentry operations, or interior fit-out production.

• Strong knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, and modular systems.

• Understanding of manufacturing machinery (Panel Saw, Edge Bander, CNC Router, Drill Machines, etc.).

• Ability to read & understand technical drawings and production BOQs.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and team-handling abilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
