Position Overview We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager with a strong technical understanding of our product offerings and experience in selling to the automotive, defense, medical, and railways sectors. The ideal candidate will define and implement our sales approach, establish and nurture customer relationships, manage the vendor registration process for new accounts, and work closely with our digital marketing team to enhance lead generation and drive online growth. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development : Define and execute a strategic sales plan targeting key industry sectors. Identify growth opportunities and set actionable sales goals. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers in automotive, defense, medical, and railway industries. Vendor Registration and Compliance : Lead vendor registration processes with targeted clients, ensuring compliance with all requirements and maintaining an organized process for successful approvals. Digital Marketing Collaboration : Work closely with the digital marketing team to define sales goals, enhance lead generation strategies, and ensure alignment between online marketing efforts and overall sales objectives. Market Intelligence : Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and potential business opportunities. Provide feedback to product development based on customer needs. Lead Generation & Conversion : Proactively source and engage new leads, drive high-quality conversion, and manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach to deal closure. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and meet customer expectations. Reporting and Analytics : Track and report on sales activities, conversions, and revenue generation. Utilize CRM tools to keep detailed records and forecast sales performance. Qualifications Proven track record as a Sales Manager or in a similar role within industrial manufacturing, preferably with a focus on electrical components or related industries. Experience with B2B sales, particularly in the automotive, defense, medical, or railway sectors. In-depth knowledge of vendor registration processes and compliance standards in regulated industries. Familiarity with online lead generation (Alibaba, Indiamart etc) and digital marketing integration within sales strategies. Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
