Sales Manager - B2B

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving offline sales for a leading steel-commerce platform across multiple districts in Andhra Pradesh including West Godavari, Guntur, NTR (Krishna), Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Kurnool, YSR Kadapa, Tirupati, and Anantapur. Your main focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with dealers and contractors, achieving volume targets, and expanding market share for a range of steel products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and expand a network of dealers and stockists within the assigned districts. - Acquire and retain builders, fabricators, and project contractors as customers. - Conduct regular field visits to provide product information, pricing details, and delivery consultations in Telugu. - Meet monthly tonnage and revenue targets, and maintain funnel data using CRM software. - Gather insights on competitors and market trends, and provide actionable feedback to regional leadership. - Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and collections. Qualification Required: - 3-5 years of experience in field sales or B2B sales within the steel, cement, roofing sheets, pipes, paints, or allied building/construction materials industry. - Demonstrated success in dealer and distributor management with a track record of meeting targets. - Proficiency in Telugu and basic English for internal reporting purposes. - Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the district. - Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
