Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–10 years’ experience

  selling enterprise software/data/forecasting solutions into the

  Renewable energy sector

  .
• Proven success selling into

  solar/wind IPPs, storage developers, green hydrogen projects, or RE investors

  .
• Deep understanding of India’s

  renewable energy ecosystem

  : SECI auctions, private PPAs, open access markets, energy storage tenders, and green hydrogen mission.
• Strong ability to position

  data-driven forecasting and AI-based scheduling solutions

  to reduce penalties and maximize merchant revenues.
• Track record of closing multi-crore SaaS/analytics deals with private energy companies

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business and expansions within private renewable IPPs and developers (e.g., ReNew, Greenko, Adani Green, JSW Energy, Hero Future Energies, Avaada, etc.).
• Position forecasting and analytics solutions that help with generation forecasting, scheduling compliance, grid integration, and market trading optimization.
• Map and develop relationships with CXOs (CEO, COO, CDO, Head of Trading, Head of Asset Management).
• Build business cases linked to reducing DSM penalties, improving market participation (DAM, RTM, GTAM, G-DAM), and optimizing hybrid/storage dispatch.
• Run end-to-end enterprise sales cycles: prospecting → PoC/pilot → negotiation → closure → expansion.
• Partner with global investors, IPP-backed asset platforms, and renewable-focused advisory firms to drive indirect opportunities.
• Track renewable policy changes (CERC/SERC renewable regulations, storage tenders, hydrogen policies) and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Represent the company at REI Expo, CII Renewable Summits, and industry investor conferences.
