They also organize events by recognizing & giving awards for promoting best talent in jewelry design along with shows in India wherein high- end designer, jewellery manufacturers & retailers come together for connecting, buying & selling.
Job Summary
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth across B2B media including print & digital along with managing awards & shows in the gems and jewellery sector. This leadership role involves managing sales strategies, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities for advertising, sponsorship, and event partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B media sales, industry networking, and experience in the jewellery trade ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for print, digital, and event platforms.
- Lead a team of sales executives and account managers to drive performance and client satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building.
- Pitch advertising solutions, media packages, and sponsorship opportunities to potential clients in gems & jewellery industry.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle including client acquisition, negotiation, closing, and post-sales service.
- Collaborate with editorial, sales, and social media teams to deliver integrated media and event solutions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts in the jewellery manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and allied sectors.
- Represent the brand at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events in gems & jewellery industry.
- Track sales performance metrics, prepare forecasts, and report regularly to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B print & digital media sales, event sponsorship with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the gems and jewellery industry.
- Existing network in the jewellery trade, exhibitions & media industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow new revenue streams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team toward achieving the targets.
- Strategic thinker with client-first attitude
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.
