Responsibilities include managing sales, fostering growth opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to enhance laboratory workflows. Job Profile:

  • Responsible for the overall sales operations, including strategies and results, in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Planning and prioritising personal time and sales activities.
  • Managing the product mix and pricing to meet desired targets.
  • Market Development, identify and acquire new customers, build strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Using and updating the CRM on a daily basis to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Organize sales / channel campaigns / field activities.
  • Track and analyse dynamic business opportunities and risks.
  • Assesses competitors by analysing & summarizing competitor information & trends & identifying sales opportunities.
  • Conduct telephone sales with customers including technical promotion, & commercial conditions like price setting, payment terms.
  • Establishes Business Channel & Partnership network to improve territory coverage.
  • Manage Channel partners to deliver business results, high quality service with fully complied business conduct.
  • Achieve agreed number of call reports and document follow-up of marketing campaigns as appointed.
  • Develops accounts by checking customers buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Engage with interested prospects and build with prospect trusted relationships.
  • Provides business and activity metrics as and when requested by Sales Management.
  • Attain monthly sales targets & be accountable to yearly sales goals for the number of small & medium deals.
  • Identify customers technology requirements/needs and translate this into successful business opportunities.
  • Track and report data using CRM Edge software to keep track of everything especially opportunities in the system.
  • Collaborating, liaising and providing guidance and support across departments to ensure customer success.
  • Working closely with all other groups at division (e.g. Technical Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and R&D etc.)
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure appropriate delivery of products, services, and information.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Establishes short- and long-term goals in alignment with company objectives.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry or Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in similar technology / Industry.
  • Willingness to travel 4/5 days/week within sales territory.
  • Strong business development and sales / closing skills.
  • You will be working closely with all other groups at division (e.g. Technical Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and R&D.
  • Result oriented individual with sales leadership quality and a background in chemistry or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for customer success are essential.
  • Strategic thinking, result oriented to prioritize complex situations.
  • Strong communication skill to build collaborations across different functions to secure business resources.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint software programmes
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail.
  • High level of energy, drive and result focus.
  • Demonstrated team working skills.
  • Fluent Local / Hindi language and English skills.
