Sales Executive

Spinco is looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Executive - Lab Essentials to strengthen and expand our presence across the Mumbai and Pune, covering academic, research, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, industrial, and testing laboratories. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals with a strong scientific / technical background who are passionate about consultative selling, customer engagement, and laboratory technologies.

Educational Qualification :

• B.E. / B.Tech in a relevant technical field (Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics, etc.)

OR

• M.Sc. in any Science discipline (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Analytical Sciences, etc.)

Candidates with either qualification are eligible; a combination of both is an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of chromatography principles and laboratory workflows.
• Strong understanding of general laboratory instruments and their applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage territory ownership, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• High levels of initiative, accountability, and customer orientation.
• Fresher or 2–3 years of experience in Technical sales, Application support, Laboratory instrumentation sales

Strong technical exposure and customer-facing experience is an added advantage

Product Portfolio – Lab Essentials

The role will focus on the following product categories:

• Centrifuges
• Analytical & precision balances
• Water purification systems
• HPLC & GC columns
• Detectors
• Basic Lifesciences equipment
• Concentrators
• Benchtop freeze dryers

Related laboratory essentials and accessories.

A working technical understanding of one or more of these products is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
2. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across assigned industries and institutions.
3. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers
4. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with customers.
5. Travel extensively across the Mumbai Central & Pune territory for customer meetings, demos, and follow-ups.
6. Collaborate closely with marketing and application teams to support campaigns, lead generation, and customer engagement initiatives.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and forecasts using the company’s CRM system.
8. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity reports.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies relevant to Lab Essentials.
