Sales Executive - Non-Corrosive Solutions

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to drive the adoption and sales of our innovative non-corrosive parts. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong practical understanding of the construction or industrial supplies market, who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You will be instrumental in introducing cutting-edge materials to a traditional market, focusing on the long-term value and benefits our products offer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, industrial, and municipal sectors.

· Conduct on-site visits to potential clients (contractors, project managers, engineers, distributors).

· Present the unique value proposition of our non-corrosive parts, emphasizing benefits like longevity, reduced maintenance, and cost savings over time.

· Understand customer project requirements and offer suitable product solutions.

· Negotiate terms, prepare quotations, and close sales deals.

· Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

· Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to the management.

· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Desired Profile & Skills:

· Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication in local languages (Hindi, Marathi if operating in Central India) and ability to articulate product benefits clearly and persuasively. Good listening skills to understand customer needs.

· Networking Ability: A natural ability to connect with people and build rapport quickly. Existing contacts in the local construction or industrial supply chain would be a significant advantage.

· Persistence & Resilience: A tenacious approach to sales, not easily discouraged by objections or initial setbacks. High self-motivation and a drive to achieve targets.

· Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify customer pain points (e.g., corrosion, high maintenance) and position our products as effective solutions.

· Basic Technical Aptitude: Capable of understanding and explaining basic product specifications and applications after training. Willingness to learn about new materials and technologies.

· Organized: Ability to manage sales leads, schedules, and follow-ups effectively.

· Integrity: A trustworthy individual who builds long-term relationships based on honesty.

Required Background (Not Highly Educated, Minimum Salary Focus):

· Experience:

o Minimum 2-5 years of direct field sales experience in related industries such as:

§ Construction materials (cement, rebar, pipes, aggregates)

§ Industrial consumables

§ Hardware supplies

§ Paints (specifically industrial or protective coatings)

§ Any product where durability, corrosion resistance, or long-term value was a key selling point.

o Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in previous roles, even in challenging environments.

· Education: We prioritize practical experience and a demonstrated sales ability over formal academic qualifications. A High School Diploma (10th/12th pass) is sufficient. Candidates with vocational training or relevant industry certifications will also be considered.

· Local Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the local construction landscape, key players, and industry practices in Central India (or your specific target region) is highly desirable.

· Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a two-wheeler for extensive field travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation Structure (Aligning with Minimum Salary Expectation):

To attract the right talent at a minimum base salary, a performance-driven compensation model is key.

· Modest Fixed Monthly Salary: A basic living wage that provides stability.

· Attractive Commission Structure: A significant percentage of total compensation should be tied to sales performance (e.g., percentage of sales revenue, bonus for exceeding targets). This incentivizes high performance and allows the individual to earn substantially more based on their efforts.

· Travel & Mobile Allowances: Reimbursement for legitimate business expenses (fuel, phone).

This profile aims to identify a street-smart, driven sales professional who understands the ground reality of your target market and is eager to grow with a new, innovative company, even without a formal higher education degree.
