Job Description

Position Overview: Experience in Hotel Industry Required The Sales Executive is responsible for generating business for the hotel by developing and maintaining strong client relationships across corporate, travel, and group segments. The role focuses on increasing occupancy, maximizing revenue from rooms and banquets, and supporting the hotel’s brand visibility in Ranchi and neighboring markets. Key Responsibilities Business Development Identify and approach potential corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets (rooms, banquets, F&B packages). Conduct cold calls, sales visits, and presentations to prospective clients. Account Management Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts through regular follow-ups. Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction. Handle inquiries for banquets, meetings, and group bookings, preparing proposals and quotations. Revenue Maximization Upsell hotel services (banquets, F&B promotions, long-stay packages). Coordinate with the revenue manager/front office for best available rates. Market Intelligence Track competitor activity, pricing, and promotions. Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager/GM on market trends. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with F&B, Banquets, and Front Office for seamless client servicing. Maintain accurate records in the sales CRM system. Submit weekly reports on sales activities and pipeline. Qualifications & Skills Graduate in Hotel Management / Business Administration (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or corporate sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and close business deals. Familiarity with Ranchi’s corporate and travel market will be an added advantage.
