🟩 Job Title: Human Resources Manager Location: Lemon Tree Hotel, Ranchi, Jharkhand Department: Human Resources Reports To: General Manager / Corporate HR Job Type: Full-Time 🟨 Role Overview As the HR Manager at Lemon Tree Hotel Ranchi, you will oversee all human resource operations, ensuring a high-performance culture, legal compliance, staff well-being, and alignment with Lemon Tree’s brand values. You will serve as a strategic partner to operations, playing a key role in employee experience, hiring, training, and retention. 🟨 Key Responsibilities 👥 Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment for all hotel departments (housekeeping, F&B, front office, etc.) Conduct background verification and reference checks Oversee structured onboarding and induction programs 📅 HR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and payroll coordination Ensure full compliance with local labor laws (e.g., Jharkhand Shops & Establishments Act) Handle inspections, audits, and statutory registers (PF, ESIC, etc.) Manage employee ID cards, contracts, and exit formalities 🎓 Training & Development Coordinate training programs: soft skills, safety, grooming, and brand SOPs Maintain training logs and track performance improvements 🤝 Employee Engagement & Welfare Plan staff welfare activities, R&R programs, birthdays, and town halls Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions Handle grievances fairly and sensitively 📈 Performance Management Support appraisal cycles and monthly feedback mechanisms Work with HODs to develop improvement plans and PIPs 🛠️ Policy & SOP Adherence Implement and monitor company HR policies and Lemon Tree SOPs Communicate any changes in policy or compliance to staff 🟨 Qualifications & Skills Education - MBA / PGD in HR or equivalent Experience 4–6 years in hospitality HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Preferred Background: Experience in branded hotels (mid-scale or above) Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, labor law knowledge, team handling, problem-solving with Excel expertise.
