IT Manager

Role Purpose: The IT Manager will oversee all hotel IT systems — servers, networking, PMS, POS, CCTV, and guest/staff technology. Responsible for smooth day-to-day operations, vendor management, and integration of new systems with hotel workflows. Key Responsibilities: Systems & Server Management Manage local/cloud servers, backups, and uptime. Ensure PMS, POS, Banquet software, and accounting systems run smoothly. Software Integrations Integrate PMS with OTAs, POS with Accounts & Inventory, Banquet CRM with Sales. Liaise with vendors to fix bugs or new updates. Networking & Connectivity Maintain Guest Wi-Fi (secure, high-speed, separate VLAN). Monitor staff/back-office internet, firewalls, and antivirus systems. Support & Troubleshooting Act as first point of contact for IT issues (hardware/software). Train hotel staff on system use (PMS, POS, booking platforms). Security & Compliance Maintain CCTV uptime and data storage compliance. Secure guest data (GDPR/local IT laws). Vendor & Budget Management Manage contracts with PMS, POS, ISP, and IT AMC vendors. Maintain IT asset register and renewal calendar for licenses. Qualifications: Graduate in Computer Science / IT, or Diploma in Networking/Systems. 2–5 years’ experience in hospitality IT or retail IT preferred. Strong knowledge of Windows servers, networking, PMS/POS systems. Exposure to hotel systems (Protel, Prologic, Alif, Opera, EPABX)
