**Job Description:** As a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Trelleborg, you will be supporting the regional manager in driving the regional sales and marketing efforts of Trelleborg Marine Systems Marine fenders to achieve regional objectives while upholding customer and Trelleborg values. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing end-to-end solutions by assessing customer needs, generating inquiries, applying engineering, selling solutions, and supporting project delivery and after-sales - Conducting face-to-face sales to new or existing customers in the Indian market and other markets - Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable products, services, and solutions in collaboration with the engineering team - Defining and proposing sales targets and growth plans for the territory/geographies and ensuring their achievement with a structured follow-up process - Evaluating, measuring, and managing product offers such as spares, services, overhauling, retrofitting, bay extensions, etc. - Collaborating with other departments like engineering, projects, and finance to provide customer service, support, and resolve issues - Coordinating marketing activities, arranging technical seminars, and presentations for Industries and utilities - Monitoring competitors" activities and formulating response strategies - Reporting leads and opportunities in necessary tools and updating CRM continuously - Providing support in project installations, material planning, new vendor development, project status updates, packaging, transportation, and quality checks **About The Ideal Candidate:** To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Technical Knowledge: Understanding the product or service, its features, functionality, and technical specifications - Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify customer needs, analyze complex technical issues, and provide effective solutions - Sales Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and meeting sales targets - Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders - Customer Focus: Prioritizing customer requirements and delivering personalized solutions - Relationship Building: Establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners - Presentation Skills: Delivering engaging and persuasive presentations to showcase products and services - Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve common goals - Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs Qualifications required: - BTech/BE degree with 3-5 years of experience in Technical/Project Sales - MBA is an additional advantage At Trelleborg, we are dedicated to diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process.
