Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen, enabling you to understand customer requirements, demonstrate laser marking/engraving solutions, and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for laser marking and engraving machines.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, client meetings, product demonstrations, to order closure.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Understand customer applications and recommend suitable laser solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and trials for clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to customize solutions based on client requirements.
  • Market & Strategy
  • Track industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on product improvements and customer needs.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to represent Indolaser.
  • Post-Sales Support
  • Coordinate with service engineers to ensure smooth machine installation and after-sales support.
  • Assist customers with basic troubleshooting and technical queries.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in capital equipment sales/industrial machinery/laser systems (preferred).
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain complex machinery in simple terms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across regions
