Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Freightify, you will be a crucial member of the team responsible for generating and qualifying leads, increasing pipeline growth, and supporting the overall sales process. Your role involves identifying and developing opportunities from various sources such as prospect lists, inbound marketing leads, and targeted research within the US market. You will have the opportunity to undergo comprehensive sales training programs focusing on SaaS selling methodology and gain exposure to world-class cloud technology from a leader in B2B SaaS products. This role also offers significant growth prospects within a rapidly expanding tech company with multicultural teams and accelerated career progression. Your main responsibilities will include lead generation and prospecting by researching potential leads and target accounts in the freight forwarding industry. Utilizing various communication channels like email, phone, and social media, you will engage prospects and generate interest in Freightify's solutions. Additionally, you will qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and alignment with Freightify's offerings. Crafting personalized outreach messages, scheduling meetings and demos for the sales team, and maintaining accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system will be key tasks. Collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, campaigns, and messaging is essential. Providing feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and campaign effectiveness will also be part of your role. You will support the sales team by assisting in meeting setup, preparing materials, conducting research, and contributing to the development of strategies to enhance lead conversion rates. Tracking and reporting key metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline growth are vital aspects of performance monitoring. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 3-7 years of experience in SAAS sales development, lead generation, or a related field. Experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or SaaS industry is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with CRM systems, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities. A Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. This position requires openness to working from the office and interest in working in US shift timings.
