Job Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting fitness products and services, and driving sales to meet revenue targets. This role requires a customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and a passion for fitness to build lasting relationships with clients and contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Interact with customers in-person, over the phone, or via digital channels to understand their fitness needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas by actively pursuing leads and closing deals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of fitness products, services, and industry trends to effectively educate customers and address inquiries.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and follow up on sales leads through customer interactions, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Store/Platform Management: Ensure a welcoming and organized sales environment, whether in a physical retail space or online platform, including managing inventory displays and promotional materials.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and customer support teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Reporting: Track and report sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to management using CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of proven B2C sales experience, ideally in the fitness, wellness, or retail industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of fitness industry trends and products is highly desirable.
  • Attributes:

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.

Experience Level

2-3 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or retail industry
