Job Description

As a Sponsorship Generation Specialist at India Designer Show, your role is crucial in securing strategic partnerships and generating significant sponsorship revenue for the show. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy, identifying potential sponsors, creating compelling sponsorship proposals, negotiating agreements, and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors. Your primary goal will be to meet revenue targets and ensure the success of sponsor partnerships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy aligned with the goals and target audience of India Designer Show. - Identify and research potential sponsors across various industries that align with the show's brand and audience. - Proactively generate leads and conduct outreach to potential sponsors through various channels. - Create compelling and customized sponsorship proposals for each potential partner. - Effectively negotiate sponsorship agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and meet revenue targets. - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and partnerships are successful. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless fulfillment of sponsor benefits and deliverables. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and sponsorship best practices. Track and report on sponsorship efforts and revenue generation. - Manage the budget allocated for sponsorship acquisition activities. - Represent India Designer Show at relevant industry events and networking opportunities. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. - 5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or a similar role in events, media, or luxury sectors in India. - Strong understanding of the Indian sponsorship market and motivations of potential sponsors. - Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of achieving revenue targets. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders. - Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential sponsors. - Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, with a strong work ethic. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. - Willingness to travel within India as required. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Existing network of contacts within relevant industries for sponsorship opportunities in India. - Experience working with high-profile events or within the design and luxury market in India. - Familiarity with sponsorship valuation and ROI analysis.
