India Designer Show is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Generation Specialist to secure strategic partnerships and generate significant sponsorship revenue for the show. As a Sponsorship Generation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, cultivating, and closing sponsorship deals with relevant brands and organizations seeking to connect with the influential audience and vibrant atmosphere of the India Designer Show. The ideal candidate should be a persuasive communicator, a skilled negotiator, and have a strong understanding of the Indian sponsorship landscape. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy, identifying and researching potential sponsors across various industries, generating leads and conducting outreach, creating compelling sponsorship proposals, negotiating sponsorship agreements, building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, collaborating with internal teams for sponsorship fulfillment, staying informed about industry trends, managing the sponsorship acquisition budget, and representing the India Designer Show at relevant industry events. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, along with 5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or a similar role within the events, media, or luxury sectors in India. You should possess excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders, strong research and analytical skills, self-motivation, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. Preferred qualifications include an existing network of contacts within relevant industries for sponsorship opportunities in India, experience working with high-profile events or within the design and luxury market in India, and familiarity with sponsorship valuation and ROI analysis.
