Job Description

Position - Building Material Sales Specialist

Salary - 30,000 - 40,000

Location - Mumbai (Goregaon)


Job Summary:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of cement, Ready Mix Plaster, Tile adhesive bags and AAC blocks, developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, engineers, dealers, and construction professionals. The role focuses on market development, lead generation, achieving monthly sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective product knowledge and service support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads and convert them into sales opportunities for cement and AAC blocks.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned by the company.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify new projects, dealers, distributors, and influencers.
  • Promote products to builders, contractors, architects, engineers, and construction firms.
  • Strengthen and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct site visits to assess product requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor pricing, and industry trends to support business growth.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and ongoing leads to ensure timely closures.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and deliveries.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to the company's credit policies.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, customer visit summaries, and maintain CRM/customer database.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and ensure high-quality service standards.


Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in building materials sales (cement, AAC blocks, or construction-related products preferred).
  • Strong understanding of dealer networks, project sales, and field operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
